Garden design
The initial design consultation is free of charge. (Unless you live very far from Worthing in which case we might discuss transport costs).
During this session, I will gather information to take away and help me designing your new garden
Design costs start at £330 (+ VAT) for a courtyard or small garden, be it a front or back garden.*
* If you are on a small budget, keep in mind that using a Designer could save money by finding cheaper material or plants but also avoid you making mistakes that can be very costly to rectify later
Included in this price are
-A scaled plan of your new garden
-A plant list
-A price list for the various aspects of the design
Planting plan
This service might be for you if you have a garden you are fairly happy with but need some help to improve the planting in a specific area.
Following a home visit and a discussion about your likes and dislikes, I will provide you with a planting plan for the area, with a list of plants and the numbers you will need to fill the area.
This service starts at £130 (+ VAT) and differs from the garden consultation (see below) in the way that you will be provided with a detailed plan and list.
Garden consultation
If all you want is some help to discuss a few ideas or some plants suitable for a tricky space, I also offer a Consultation service where for £100 (+VAT) I will visit you and your garden and discuss those ideas. (No design is included in this cost, but should you want to take it further, this amount could be deducted from a future commission)
Project Management
Should you wish to go ahead with a design with your own builder or by yourself, I can be available with project management support. The fees for this service would depend on the scale of the project and the amount of hours needed.
Maintenance
If you want help to maintain the garden once it is built, I am also happy to organise a personalised maintenance schedule with you.
Garden skills course.
The Design I will produce will match your gardening skills as discussed during the design consultation. But some people with or without gardening experience and are keen to learn more about how to look after their garden themselves and want some hands on experience of the process.
This service is available to people who have used my design services or not.
A half day course, built specifically around your garden and your level of knowledge will cost you
-£120 (for half a day /3 hour session) for up to two people
-£200 (for a full day /6 hours session or two half days) for up to two people
Pests and disease consultation*
If you are faced with bugs and don’t know what to do about them or if you notice some strange spots on a prized plant and wonder what it is and if the plant can be saved, why not get in touch?
For £30 I will visit your garden and help you identify the problem and suggest a solution.
Should I not be able to do so, there will be no charge for my visit.
